This will be an opportunity to listen to latest updates in our campaign as we continue to oppose the fracking proposals of Europa Oil & Gas, which will directly affect the villages of Burniston, Cloughton, Scalby and Newby and beyond. PARLIAMENTARY PETITION

 

Alison Hume MP asked us to start a parliamentary petition to ban 'proppant squeezing' or 'small scale fracking' or simply said 'ALL FRACKING'. for onshore oil and gas This is now waiting to pass parliamentary  'petition standards' . Our aim is to get 100,000 signatures so the petition is considered for a debate in Parliament.

Please keep your eyes peeled for the petition and get all your friends and relatives to sign up so that we can tell everyone when the petition is live.

COFFEE MORNING & BIG CAKE SALE

 

We are having a coffee morning and BIG cake sale on 28th June from 10-12 at Burniston Methodist Church. Please let us know if you can bake cakes for us to sell here.
